Also known in West Africa and Europe as karite, shea is indigenous to the savannah lands that extend from Senegal to eastern Uganda. Our shea butter is organically grown and absorbs readily into the skin. Shea butter is a remarkable, all-purpose moisturizer and skin protector. It leaves the skin feeling soft and well-moisturized yet not greasy. Our support of African shea producers increases the value of the living shea tree, engendering conservation of indigenous African woodland for future generations. High oleic safflower is included for its rich content of linolenic acids and benefits for painful, inflamed joints. Sesame oil is softening and beneficial for dry and itching skin. It contains vitamin E, minerals, amino acids, and proteins to nourish the skin. Both oils are food grade and expeller pressed. They are combined with antioxidant vitamins to protect the oils’ potent benefits.
Use: Apply a small amounts to hands and lightly rub together to warm oil. Proceed wth massage, applying additional small amounts and warming as you go.
